Payment choices are selected during checkout, and the backend remains the source of truth for final payment status.
Online checkout
Online payments may open a hosted checkout page. Orders stay pending until the backend confirms payment.
Offline methods
Bank transfer and cash on delivery can be offered where they are enabled for the storefront.
